Huff Contracting, Inc. began in 1946 as Huff / Homeway Construction, a small home-building business, under the direction of John P. Huff, Sr. The business specialized in building homes in the Waterloo and Cedar Falls areas. Under the leadership of his son, John Huff, Jr., the project focus transitioned to commercial contracting, which led to our specialization in commercial construction. Over time our management has changed to include a new generation of the Huff family, with Jason Huff taking over sole ownership of the company in 2019. Through the years, we have grown into one of the largest providers of retail, restaurant, childcare, and medical construction in the Cedar Valley. We remain focused on steady growth while always working in the best interest of our clients.
